Group Manager / PostDoc Position, Domain: Automotive - Electric Cars

We are now accepting applications for a Group ManagerPosition in the area of electro-mobility at the non-profit research institute fortiss GmbH. 

Project Title:
Group Manager: Competence Center - Electric Car

Application Deadline: the position is to be filled as soon as possible

fortiss is developing in cooperation with automotive industry the future electric car with a focus on innovative ICT system architectures (ECUs, networks, Software). The goal of the competence center is to improve the current demonstrator platform and to coordinate ongoing projects together with industry.

Applicants should have a M.Sc. or preferably Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent, from a well-known University) and several years of working experience in the automotive area including project management. The successful candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas: (i) automotive electronics, (ii) development processes, and (iii) software architectures. German skills are a plus.

fortiss GmbH is a non-profit research organization funded by the Bavarian Ministry for Economics. fortiss has tight links to Technische Universität München which is consistently ranked as one of the three best universities in Germany. The competence center Automotive has about 10 members and is engaged in several 3rd party funded projects. We can pay a salary up to TV-L E15.
