We are now accepting applications for a Group Manager Position in the area of model-driven development tools at the non-profit research institute fortiss GmbH.

fortiss is developing domain-specific model-driven development tools for embedded systems with a focus on extra-functional requirements and timing. The goal is to improve the current tool platform and to coordinate ongoing projects.

Applicants should have a M.Sc. or preferably Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (or equivalent, from a well?known University) and several years of working experience in the area of model-driven development tools including project management. The successful candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas: (i) domain-specific languages, (ii) code generation frameworks, (iii) software / middleware architectures, and (iv) the Eclipse environment. German skills are a plus.

fortiss GmbH is a recently founded non-profit research organization funded by the Bavarian Ministry for Economics. fortiss has tight links to Technische Universität München which is consistently ranked as one of the three best universities in Germany. The group Model-Driven Development focuses on model-driven development with a special focus on extra-functional requirements. The tools are applied in the domains of automation and automotive.
