fortiss researcher Tianming Qiu

When did you first become interested in programming, and what do you find exciting about it?

I have been programming for over five years, and what excites me the most about it is the ability to build something from scratch using nothing but my imagination and coding skills. It's like being an architect, designing and constructing a virtual world that can potentially solve real-world problems. Programming requires constant learning, updating, and refining of designs, and it's amazing to see how ideas that initially started as just lines of code can evolve into complex and functional systems. With the right tools and skills, you can create a robust and scalable architecture that can make a real difference in people's lives.

What drives you in your work?

What drives me in my work and job is the constant evolution of technology and engineering. I am passionate about learning the underlying logic and theory behind these advancements and applying them to solve complex problems. As a researcher, my ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of innovative technologies that can improve people's lives and make a positive impact on society. I am motivated by the prospect of pushing the boundaries of what is possible and making significant contributions to the field.
