Artificial intelligence (AI) is a topic that companies cannot ignore today if they want to set the course for the future. But how can small and medium-sized companies in particular evaluate which AI technologies they really need? What do they have to do to implement them? Which use cases are relevant? Leading AI experts and users as well as AI startups will provide answers to these questions at the conference "AI for SMEs" on 9 May 2019, 9-17.30 a.m., in the Design Offices Munich Highlight Towers 1 (31st/32nd floor) Munich.
The conference is aimed at managers of small and medium-sized companies who want to understand the potential and ways of implementing AI. The topics covered are relevant to all sectors, e.g. mechanical engineering, automotive industry, medical technology, robotics, construction industry or consumer goods.
The organizers (fortiss, TU Munich, appliedAI Initiative) do not only want to give the participants an overview of the current state of research. It is particularly important to them to show the responsible persons in practice how they can align their corporate strategy with AI and how they can already use AI technologies today. In interactive workshops, the AI experts support the participants in finding suitable network partners and use cases for AI. The event rounds off a get-together from 5.30 p.m., which offers the opportunity for extensive networking.
