Artificial intelligence - with trustworthiness to the development of potentials
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers us the possibility and opportunity to positively change our society. At the same time, AI is highly controversial and the benefits of this new technology are often offset by the fear of handing over control of systems and decisions to machines without consciousness. Before we can classify AI as trustworthy, many unanswered questions still need to be answered.
These include:
Dr. Henrik J. Putzer, head of the "Trustworthy autonomous Systems (TAS)" competence area and managing director of cogitron GmbH, will answer these questions and explain the topic of AI in more detail.
Among other things, he will also talk about the new VDE application rule "Specification and design of autonomous/cognitive systems". The VDE application rule, which is currently being developed by standardization experts, defines trustworthiness requirements and drafts technical rules for the life cycle of AI systems in order to simplify the answering of the questions raised.
Look forward to a relaxed and exciting evening, learn something new and network with the other members of the Next Generation DKE!
