Hands-on-training: Blockchain - Basics and Practical Application

The fortiss competence field Open Data and Information Management (ODIM) leads this hands-on-training, which is conducted in cooperation with the Cluster Mechatronics & Automation. The instructors explain the so-called Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), to which Blockchain also belongs, and give an overview of the associated technology landscape.

Following on from this, participants will learn the so-called three-step method in the course of active exercises: Needs analysis, feasibility evaluation and IT architecture design of concrete use cases. Finally, the opportunities and challenges of DLT are discussed and practical tips are explained.

The event - according to the current pandemic situation - will take place in a hybrid format. Participation on site as well as online is equally possible according to the current status.
