On March 14, 2024, from 3 to 4 pm, the transformation hub Automotive Software Engineering (TASTE) invites you to a pop-up working group dedicated to the topic "Qualifications - What skills will automotive software engineering need in the future?". The aim of this working group is to determine the needs of the industry with regard to qualification measures in the field of automotive software engineering. Severin Kacianka, scientist at the fortiss Center for Code Excellence, will contribute his expertise on this important topic and discuss it with you.

The discussion is aimed at anyone who is involved in qualification measures in the field of automotive software engineering and is interested in discussing them. Particularly welcome are people in companies who are responsible for hiring decisions and recruiting, both in companies and at universities.

Their expertise from business practice, research or as representatives of local institutions is of central importance. We welcome your participation in our working group and look forward to your contribution to shaping future mobility towards a digital, intelligent and highly automated transportation system. The Transformation Hub Automotive Software Engineering (TASTE) aims to define software development (SWE) as a strategic first-level topic in the automotive sector and establish an industry-wide SWE culture. The hub acts as an incubator and multiplier for modern SWE methods and aims to strengthen the automotive sector's expertise in integrating software along the value chain and product life cycle. TASTE thus closes a gap in the competence and networking landscape of the German automotive industry.
