During 2022, fortiss once again carried out a wide range of cutting-edge research projects in the area of software, our core field of competence. Working together with our partners in industry, many of the resulting solutions and research findings found their way into practical applications.

A further high point of the year was the opening of the fortiss Lab in the Highlight Towers in Munich. This application-oriented and interactive platform, which serves as an important link between industry and science, provides a creative space for working on the digital transformation and highly-innovative software systems while offering outstanding opportunities for sharing information and experiences.

With this excellent foundation in mind, the fortiss management team, represented by Prof. Dr. Alexander Pretschner, Dr. Harald Rueß and Thomas Vallon, would like to take this opportunity to express its appreciation to all of our partners for the highly-fruitful collaboration. We look forward to a very promising and successful year in 2023.
